BRIDES!💍 Wondering what vendors should you book FIRST?
If you just started planning your big day, wedding planning can feel overwhelming to say the least. Here are the FIRST THREE vendors we recommend you book:
1. The Venue
Before you start planning all the details, you want to nail down the location of the wedding. There are lots of benefits to this, but the biggest benefit when it comes to vendor booking is the potential to save on travel fees! Once you have the venue nailed down, you can intentionally book local vendors and avoid racking up unnecessary travel fees. Plus some vendors don't book until they confirm the address of the wedding.
2. The Photographer
The photographer is going to be one of the most important and most expensive vendors you will need. And one of the only vendors whose services will still be paying off for decades. Those photos are for a lifetime, and you don't want to skimp on your budget where it counts. Booking them first ensures you have enough room in your budget to secure a photographer you really love before you start spending on other vendors and services. PLUS, it is a great idea to
use the same photographer for your engagement photos and pre-wedding bridal portraits whenever possible, so that all those beautiful moments hanging on the wall 15 years from now can have cohesive editing styles. Trust us, it makes a difference!
3. The Coordinator
We promise your other vendors will thank you for having a capable, professional coordinating team to keep everyone on the same page. Weddings can get HECTIC, and you don't need your guests and family members to be wandering around not knowing what to do with a clashing wedding schedule, and Uncle Jimmy making a scene that no one is willing to handle. Ensure your day is as blissful and stress free as you deserve. Your vendors, guests, and yes, even Uncle Jimmy, will thank you later.
If you need any extra help with vendor recommendations, booking tips, venue scouting, or anything else, we've got you!
Happy Wedding Planning!
